"Read the Wave"

You will be hearing this saying a lot during the month of February!

From February 7th through 28th, we will hold our annual Reading Emphasis Month here at BCS. Pre-K through 5th grade will be reading to reach a school wide goal of 1800 hours! (Last year we read 1652.) The class that reads the most hours will win a pizza & movie party. The class that comes in 2nd will win an ice cream sundae party. Come check out the wall outside the library, our BCS teachers sure know how to surf! 

Keep reading to your child as well as having them read to you! Mrs. Robertson and all the teachers and helpers have been reading to the kids throughout the day and then it's our turn at home! Let's go Kindergarten!!
